Downloading PS3 updates?

Downloading PS3 updates?I just bought my first PS3 and I am wondering if I can download the current updates for my PS3 on my PC and then install it on my PS3 when I get home? Also if I can download game updates as well?

Game updates can only be performed on the PS3 system itself. PS3 system updates can be acquired from the internet via PC, then transferred onto the PS3 system
