PlayStation3 Not connecting - help>?Well, I bought a PS3 two days ago, and I set it up, created a user, changed the theme a little, installed some of the games, etc. I set up the internet connection, and it all went through as fine, but with a fairly weak signal. Just said it was connected, however. I then tried to update the PS3 to 2.80, but with no success. Initially, it kept hitting me with a connection error. This has now changed into something about no-longer having an access port, or something. I can't even connect to my router/sever, or anything. It's really starting to get on my nerves, as whenever I play the Force Unleashed, it keeps asking me to patch - which I'd love to, but I can't.
I really need your help. Please.

it sounds like your only probably is connecting to PSN. So just read your router manual and ur ps3 manual. It's really not that hard. You'll figure it out.

You say that you have connected in the past but with a week signal? Have you tried to hardwire to the router with an ethernet cable? have you got other devices connected wirelessly to the router? If you have a PC connected wirelessly to the router without any problems then the problem is probably not the router. It could be your internal walls interfering with the signal or it could be other interference. Check to see if there are other people using wireless in your area. If there is, you may need to change your router channel or relocate your router so that the signal is better.
