what game should I buy for my new ps3?

what game should I buy for my new ps3?I just ordered my new ps3 with a hdmi cable. now what game should I get for it? I'm eventually ganna get Madden 10, but right now im looking for a game with good action as well as a good story/plot. I've seen good reviews for uncharted 2 but I wanted to ask on here before I made my decision.

lol doom 3 dont listen to him. Uncharted 2 is an AMAZING game one of THE best games i have ever played you do not want to miss that and it is everything you are looking for great action, great plot, great characters, and unrivaled gameplay.

Here're my top 4. Assassin's Creed 2 is your best bet. The story is just amazing. So is Uncharted 2's story and gameplay. I would also recommend Dragon Age Origins and Fallout 3 as far as true RPG titles.
