Should I buy Red Dead Redemption or Wait?I'm going to a GameStop Midnight Launch for Red Dead Redemption, but I'm really going for Alan Wake on the Xbox 360. I've seen vids of RDR, and it looks really great. But I'm worried that the Multiplayer might not be as good as they live it up to be. Also, I want to save a little money too, since I don't have a job currently. I have a couple of games I'm willing to trade to get the game for $ 20 at GameStop, but I'm undecided if I want to do it or not.
I also recently bought a PS3 System, and only have a couple of games for it. Not to mention there are other games out there I haven't played yet that I want to get as well, like Mass Effect 2, Nier, Uncharted 2, and God of War 3.
So should I buy Red Dead Redemption at the Midnight Launch and also get the DLC exclusives? Or should I just wait?
-Whatever..
If you're considering buying it just for multi-player then wait. If just for the single player then definitely get it. I've read numerous reviews on how good it is going to be.

Well it kind of depends. You're worried that the multiplayer wont be everything its supposed to be? Well what have you heard about it to think that? For me, playing in the entire single player map with up to 15 other people sounds incredible. I dont know if I will even go on the competitive multiplayer, the free roam looks that fun.
Honestly I dont see how anybody can get Alan Wake over Read Dead. Alan Wake looks fine, its solid, but the story isnt very long and its not going to have alot of replay value when you find out all the cliffhanger bits. And thats all there is to the game, so it hardly seems like it has alot of playing time to it. Red Dead Redemption on the other hand, Iv heard reports of people 6 hours into the game who have just finished the first chapter. Plus there is days worth of gameplay outside of the story mode just messing around in the open world. And then you add multiplayer to that and that looks like a game you can play for a long time.
Honestly, I would say forget about Alan Wake, buy Red Dead Redemption at the midnight launch, and then wait to get Alan Wake later.
As for other games, kick out Nier and you have 3 must buy games. If you ever get the chance when they are nice and cheap I would go for it.
