If i took out a ds game and put it in a diffrent ds would i have to start the game over?because i have a dsi and my action replay dosent work on it. my friend has an action replay too.if i put my pokemon platinum game in his ds would i have to start over?

No, the memory is stored on the cartridge, not in the DS itself. You will be fine!
