How can I get my GTA 4 cheats?I have just started playing GTA 4 and I want to put cheats in and I can't get it to work. I hit the up button and I don't get the screen that gives me all the options to put in the cheats and all of the other things, the only thing I can do is get to the multiplayer section. What do I do to be able to open the cheats? It is for PS3

I have it for the xbox but it should still be the same-- first you need to actually get the cheats from a site, it's a telephone number, and then on your phone you dial in the number. (on the xbox you get your phone out and then you press up on the d-pad to get to the dialing, should be similar on the PS3)

Hi there.
1st and beforehand, please make sure that you are quite sure of the risks involved of using these cheats, once you use them, you will block certain archievements.
You can't put in the cheats, but you can key them in.
For example, to get armour for Niko, you should press the up button at the D-Pad once, and the phone will pop up, and then press up button at the D-Pad again. The phoning will occur, the simply dial 3625550100. Dial that number. And voila. The armour is there. After you pressed the cheats once, you can use it again by finding the cheats tab in your phone menu, like you mentioned earlier.
Here are a few cheats from one of the top GTA IV fansites.
Restore Niko's health. 482-555-0100
Give Niko armour. 362-555-0100
To get more of these cheats, go to http://www.gta4.tv/page/37/cheats/
Besides cheats, that website will show you quite a lot, for example, Maps, random pedestrians, pigeons(Flying rats), the how-to finish the mission. And etc. etc.

Well first things first is that you need to make sure you have completed the first mission to the point where the ramon dude gives you his phone then hit the up button twice and enter in the numbers
